Chris Durso is passionate about bringing the Gospel to all generations. As a speaker and author his heart’s desire is for God to use his gifts (whether he’s preaching at his home church, speaking abroad, or writing) to help others encounter Jesus. Chris is the creative architect of the MISFIT movement, a local ministry that has had global impact. He has authored two books, MISFIT and The Heist, and is currently serving as the Senior Associate Pastor at Christ Tabernacle church in Queens, NY.

Born and raised in New York City, both Chris, and his wife Yahris, continue to reside in NYC and hope their two children, Dylan and Chloe, will love and serve their city as much as they do. Chris’s passion for bringing the Gospel to all generations is best explained by Romans 12:1­2 (The Message):“Take your everyday, ordinary life­­ your sleeping, eating, going­to­work, and walking­around life­­and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what Goddoes for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well­adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.”
